FAQ Section (For Parents & Athletes)
What A.P.P Provides
● Player identification and profiling based on athletic ability, character, and academic potential.
● Support with highlight videos, player CVs, communication with coaches, and recruitment presentation.
● Guidance for athletes and families on academic expectations, eligibility, scholarship discussions, and placement options.
● A structured pathway that helps players move from local potential to international opportunity.
Financial Transparency
A key part of Alliance Player Pathway is transparency. Not every opportunity is a full scholarship, and many scholarships are partial. APP works closely with each player and family to understand their budget, what they are willing and able to contribute, and what type of institution would be the best fit. This helps avoid unrealistic expectations and ensures players are placed in environments where they can succeed academically and athletically.
Role in the Recruitment Process
Alliance Player Pathway does not award scholarships directly. Instead, it helps athletes access opportunities by building relationships with coaches, colleges, and recruitment networks. Through these connections, APP positions itself as a trusted placement partner for athletes who want to use sport as a pathway to education, personal growth, and long-term opportunity.
Long-Term Vision
The long-term vision of Alliance Player Pathway is to become a trusted African-based sports placement platform that gives athletes a clear, structured, and professional route into international college sport. By combining recruitment support, mentorship, exposure, and honest guidance, APP aims to help athletes move from local potential to global opportunity.
We work with talented athletes across Africa who want to pursue academic and athletic opportunities in the United States.
1. Do I need professional highlight videos to start?
Not necessarily. We can help you improve or structure your clips, especially in the Elite and Advanced packages.
2. What sports do you work with?
We support several key collegiate sports, including soccer, basketball, track and field, rugby, and tennis.
3. How long does recruitment take?
Recruitment varies by athlete and sport. Most athletes receive interest or offers within 2–6 months once their profile is complete.
4. Do you guarantee scholarships?
No agency can guarantee scholarships, but we maximize your exposure, preparation, and chances by targeting the right programs.
5. Do I have to pay before receiving offers?
Each package works differently. Some services are paid upfront, while long-term representation may include payment plans.
6. Can A.P.P help with visas?
Yes — we guide athletes through the student visa process, documentation, and interview preparation.
7. Do you stay in contact after an athlete arrives in the U.S.?
Elite athletes receive full 4-year support. Advanced athletes receive transition tips, and Starter athletes gain Q&A support as needed.

We were founded by a former international student-athlete who made this journey himself. We know the system, and we understand the challenges African athletes face — both on and off the field.
